  2. Data collection and use
The survey collects feedback about CSU Freshers events to help CSU understand students’ experiences and improve future events. Student ID is requested to verify eligibility for the prize draw and prevent duplicate entries. The student ID field is pre-populated where possible. Survey responses will be retained as part of CSU’s longitudinal data to allow feedback and student experiences to be compared over time and to inform the planning and improvement of future Freshers events. Responses may be analysed alongside other relevant feedback data for these purposes. Information will be handled in accordance with CSU’s applicable data protection policy and procedures available at OUR POLICIES. Personal data will only be accessible to authorised personnel and will not be published in a way that identifies individual respondents. Where data is used for reporting, it will be anonymised or aggregated wherever possible.
