How should students have a say at Chester Students’ Union? We want to hear from you.
Chester Students’ Union belongs to students – you! So, it’s important that students have a meaningful say in how it works, how they are represented and how their feedback is heard.
This year, we’re carrying out a review to look at how students currently have their say through CSU, and how our representative structures could work in the future.
We want to understand what students know about the different ways they can get involved and share their views, what works well, what could be better, and what you would want student representation to look like.
You don’t need to be involved in CSU already to take part. In fact, we’d love to hear from students who aren’t currently involved.

After completing the survey, you’ll also have the opportunity to sign up for a student consultation.
These will be relaxed discussions where students can talk in more detail about their experiences and ideas for the future. You don’t need any previous knowledge of CSU or student representation to take part.
Your feedback from the survey and focus groups will help shape the recommendations from the review and inform how CSU develops its democratic and representative structures in the future.
