That’s right SHAG week is back and it’s bigger than ever. This year we are bringing you a week of activities that you can get involved in!

What is SHAG week?

Running from the 27th-31st October, SHAG Week is all about promoting safe, healthy, and positive relationships. It’s a fun, informative, and inclusive campaign that breaks down taboos, raises awareness of sexual health services, and helps every student feel confident and supported when it comes to their wellbeing.

Across Exton Park campus, you’ll see a wide range of activities from fair days to body confidence classes and even giveaways. So, you know what that means, the return of the condom costume to bring you free sexual health resources! Did you know you can get free condoms and STI testing kits in the CSU toilets, you don’t even have to ask. Just help yourself. There’s something for everyone this week, whether you’re looking to ask questions privately with trained professionals or you just want the opportunity to make friends at our events.

We will also be heading over to Kingsway, Wheeler and Queens park to roam your campus and bring the fun of SHAG week directly to you. Don’t worry Birkenhead and Warrington campus we will also be visiting you with a pop up very soon, so make sure you check out on our website when we will be heading to you!

What’s on?

You can attend as many of our events as you want, click on the event to book your space and act fast as tickets are limited!

What are the goals of the campaign?

Educate Through Direct Engagement – A week full of inclusive activities that everyone can join! Bring the fun to your site with pops throughout the year.

Promote Access to Free Resources – Continue to provide free condoms and STI testing kits while explore ways we can expand what we offer to you!

Feedback and Improvement – We made changes to SHAG week this year based off your feedback and we want to continue to collect your feedback to improve our services and make sure we are bringing campaigns that matter to you.

I encourage each of you to join me in making this campaign a success in whatever way is most comfortable for you.

Stay tuned for everything that is to come. Together, we can have fun and encourage conversations so everyone remains safe. Check out our social media to join in – @CSUOFFICERTEAM
