In our work with you, we’ve found one topic consistently coming to the surface – recent rises in the cost of living.
We’ve already achieved a lot in this area this year – establishing free breakfasts in the Union on Toast Tuesdays, pushing for free sanitary products across all sites and working with catering to bring food costs down.
Today, we’re so pleased to announce our support of the launch of the Uni’s new Cost of Living Fund.
The idea behind it came about from conversations between CSU President Lauren Friel and her partners at the Uni. She wanted an easy and quick-to-access fund for students, with fewer strings attached than traditional financial support, to help support you when the stress of rising costs gets too much.
