We aim to provide a relaxed and enjoyable environment where members can share and expand their criminological understanding and knowledge. Whether your interests lie within watching crime documentaries or exploring aspects of crime and delinquency, this society is for anyone with an interest in Criminology, irrespective of their academic background. Furthermore, we work with the criminology faculty to design events that include field trips and inviting guest speakers in to speak on various criminogenic topics.

We hold fortnightly meetings at 6:30-8pm pm on Thursdays on the main campus. We partake in a variety of activities and sessions that are carefully pre- planned and align with our members interests.
W The Criminology Society offers a great way to meet new and likeminded people at the University as it provides you with a sociable, welcoming and down to earth environment. We want our meetings to be enjoyable and not a huge commitment for our members, that is why we hold our meetings once every 2 weeks. We are currently looking for new committee members to join our committee as we have a few positions available. If you are interested in joining us and perhaps being on the committee, please feel free to contact us for more information. This is available to any student of UOC regardless of their level and degree.
We always ensure our society is inclusive and accessible to all. Therefore, we ensure members are conducting themselves in a way that is respectful and inclusive of others, and that our meetings are disability accessible too.
